Los Mariachis ...Glasgow

Last night we went to Los Mariachis to eat. The "new one" as we call it. The one by Walgreen's.

I ordered water and a number four, my wife the same. We had our youngest son with us and he ordered a number twenty-one and Dr Pepper. The chips and salsa were delivered immediately. It was a new menu since we have been there so the server was ready for our order before we were. She was very friendly.

The food came out quickly. Mine was great. The wife thought the menu said soft tacos and they were crunchy but I think she was mistaken. My son had trouble identifying the burrito from the chalupa. He was expecting a chalupa like Taco Bells but this was a traditional Mexican style chalupa. Similar to a tostado.

We all liked everything. It was hot. Service was fast and friendly. We couldn't remember if we had tried their fried ice cream before. We had.

We are not big fans of their fried ice cream but that is a matter of preference. When we were done the one we ordered and shared was gone. So it wasn't bad just not as good as others we have eaten.

Los Mariachis has put a bar in since the last time we were there. It is to the right as you walk in. Glasgow may have been split on alcohol but the bar was busy just like when we were in Colton's.

We didn't drink any cocktails so no review. I'll need a designated driver for that visit.
